The Ballet Project is a five week classical ballet program for the serious minded dancer culminating in a final performance.   A more intensive schedule allows the dancer to become stronger technically under the watchful eye of a highly qualified faculty with local, regional, national, and international affiliations.  After audition and placement, students will benefit from a program tailored to the individual while advancing with other dancers of similar skill level.  Dancers ages 12 through 21 will be accepted each season for quality training.  Dancers ages 9 through 12 are eligible for our trainee program.  Technique and repertory classes are offered in classical ballet, pointe, modern, core exercise, principles of production and character dance.  Special seminars and projects are offered throughout the schedule.

  • Dancers should bring a snack, water, a theraband, an exercise mat and a sweat towel.

  • Project dancers may take one additional class of their choice from the active summer schedule of The Bowman School of Dance for no additional charge.

  • Dancers are responsible for performance leotards, ballet skirts, leg wear and foot wear.

  • Project dancers will participate in at least one performance and are expected to be at all rehersals.

  • Daily attendance is mandatory and necessary in order to insure quality training.

  • Class size is limited & studios are air conditioned.

  • This is an elite program for serious dancers.
